Apple today released a short film titled Life is But a Dream created by South Korean film director Park Chan-wook, known for Oldboy, The Handmaiden, Lady Vengeance and more.

Commissioned by Apple, the 21-minute film tells the story of a undertaker who needs wood to build a coffin for his village’s savior. He digs up an abandoned tomb and awakens the spirit of an ancient swordsman.

Apple also uploaded a separate “Making of” video that explains how Park and his film crew used the iPhone 13 Pro’s capabilities to create the short film.

“Shot on iPhone” is a long-running Apple ad campaign, and Apple has previously commissioned other short films. Apple recently shared a short film by Chinese director Zhang Meng to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
