All Star Musicals: Catherine Tyldesley named 2021 winner

Catherine Tyldesley said she invites her husband to watch their sex scenes in the film so they don’t get jealous.

The former Coronation Street star, 38, has a unique way of helping hubby Tom Pitfield not get jealous of her steamy scenes – by leaving him on set while she does them.

And Catherine even confessed that she asks Tom for advice before sexy performances as she wants to know if she looks good in certain positions.

During an interview for the Hot Mess Us Club podcast, the actress, who is expecting her second child, a baby girl, next month, ended most of her relationships because of her high-profile job, so she was desperate to stop what happened with Tom.

“Most of my relationships before Tom, all of them actually, ended because of my job. You didn’t understand the jealousy. But Tom is so chilled,” she explained.

“I remember the night before rehearsing for my sex scenes and I was like, ‘Babe, if I spread my legs like that, does my butt really look bad? Do I have a cauliflower ass?’” laughed Catherine.

Having the 34-year-old photographer on set while filming sexy scenes has been nothing but good for their relationship as she can see how unsexy the hot scenes are in real life.

“He was there on set when I had to make out with other actors. But I like that. Tom being there means he can see how clinical it is — and not remotely sexy,” Catherine said.

The couple are already parents to son Alfie, seven, and she had nothing but praise for her husband, who was almost eight when she was struggling with nausea and fatigue in the late stages of her pregnancy.

“I feel like Tom has been more or less a single parent for months because I’ve found it so difficult,” she shared.

“He gets up with Alfie today and takes him to school because I just can’t function in the morning,” Catherine added, noting that it was “really difficult” since she was so tired from not being able to sleep at night.

“And one day or the other when I’m with Alfie alone, I get scared — I need to get upset about it and just pray to God I’m having a good day,” she said through tears.

Former Strictly star Catherine even had to turn down jobs because she was so physically exhausted and she was extremely unwell in the final months of her pregnancy.

“I hate to admit when I’m not physically up to the mark. I had to turn down an acting job before Christmas, a brilliant job but very physical,” she admitted.
