Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness joins the list of Marvel films to be released in the UK ahead of the US.
The superhero sequel is out on Friday May 6th in the US, but now it’s been given a new UK release date: a full day earlier, on Thursday May 5th.
Sure it’s not a huge change, but it’s still nice for UK fans to get the film 24 hours early. US fans, you may not want to stay on Twitter this Thursday to avoid spoilers.

The second Doctor Strange Film set in Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sorcerer Supreme confronts the return of Baron Mordo out for revenge, giant Lovecraftian monsters and the possible collapse of the multiverse, which also means multiple evil versions of himself.
The film’s latest trailer in Strange has been arrested by what appears to be Ultron drones or the Iron Legion while performing a group of people who many people mistake for the Illuminati as they include Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Professor Xavier (now (he’s confirmed his return if not that Xavier part).
In short, there’s a LOT going on in this movie, and when it explains how the X-Men join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you won’t want to miss it.
One person who has denied that she will appear in the film is Ryan Reynolds, who is said to be returning as Deadpool for a cameo.
“I’m really not in the movie,” he said. “I could be an unreliable narrator. But I promise you I’m not in the movie.”
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness scheduled for release on May 5th in the UK and May 6th in the US.
