First, check out Daniel Radcliffe’s big transformation for a new movie

Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe has done many different projects since the magical franchise wrapped, some weird (by his own admission), some wonderful, but now he’s taking the weird aspect to the next level by playing none other than Weird Al Yankovic.

Funny or Die and Tango are creating a biopic for the Roku channel about the parody legend, starring Radcliffe as the “White and Nerdy” and “Smells Like Nirvana” hitmaker – and he’s changed his look accordingly.

In this image from the set of the biopic that we’re sure will be as brilliantly silly as Al’s best songs, Radcliffe sports a mustache and wig with jet-black curls that nod to his early looks.

Al himself is serving as executive producer and previously said in a statement: “When is my last film UHF When it came out in 1989, I made a solemn promise to my fans that like clockwork I would release a major motion picture every 33 years. I am very pleased to say that we are on schedule.

“I am absolutely thrilled that Daniel Radcliffe will be playing me in the film. I have no doubt that this is the role that future generations will remember him for.”

Whenever ODD: The Al Yankovic Story comes out, it should be available for UK viewers to watch via Roku streaming players, Roku-powered TVs, and NOW and Sky Q devices.

Radcliffe himself has agreed to take on stranger projects since leaving his role as the Qizard boy and tells rich last year: “I’ve actually found that doing the greatest thing you’ll ever do really freaking early is an incredibly liberating thing. The thing about financial success, that’s done. So just do things that make you happy. “
