Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Star shares image of a battered and damaged Nebula

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Star Karen Gillan has predicted tough times for Nebula, with the actress sharing a picture of herself in battle-damaged makeup on her official Instagram account. Gillan will reprise the role of the villain-turned-guardian Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and shared a caption next to the picture; “I’m on my 170th makeup application, but I still appreciate the cake.”

Gillan, who has portrayed Nebula from the start Guardians of the Galaxy Released in 2014, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista will get back together Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. While she began her story as the faithful daughter of Thanos, Nebula is now a full member of the superhero team. The battle-hardened warrior is no stranger to taking damage. Still with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 expected to bring this particular iteration of the franchise to a close, the damage this time around might be too great even for Nebula.

While plot details for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 remain a closely guarded secret, no matter what direction the sequel takes, it’s guaranteed to be an emotional one. Recurring star Zoe Saldana recently described the newest installment in the franchise as “bittersweet,” saying, “It’s bittersweet; I’m already feeling nostalgic after all these years of complaining about that green makeup. There is a lot of melancholy, but also pride at having achieved something great. James Gunn wrote a beautiful story that grabs our attention even as we shoot it. Omicron fools us every other day, but we manage and are happy. ”

Unfortunately, the clues are in the direction of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 By far the most emotional adventure in the MCU continues with Dave Bautista adding that the film will not only wrap things up for his character but for others as well. “It’s our third film, we’re going to wrap it up,” said the Drax actor. “And it’s been one hell of a journey with a few bumps. So I’m looking forward to it man. The director, James Gunn, you’re like one family to me.”

Last but not least, director James Gunn has made the now detailed suggestion of how heavy a watch should be Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be for fans. “This is the end for us, the last time people will see this team of Guardians,” Gunn said. “It’s big; it’s so, so big and dark and different than people might expect. I just want to be true to the characters and the story and give people the closure that the story deserves. That always is a bit scary; I’m doing my best.”
