Morbius confirms earlier UK release date

After endless setbacks, fans of disease now I have good news – the film will be released in the UK earlier than expected. Well, something like that.

The new Spiderman Spin-off is set to play Jared Leto as the vampire Dr. Michael Morbius and was recently slated for an April 1st release (the sixth delay).

However, it has been confirmed that the film will be released a day early in the UK March 31 – which means we can at least say it’s coming to the big screen next month now.

The latest delay was due to the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in recent months pushing it back from its previous January 28 release. The film itself was originally scheduled to hit theaters in summer 2020.

The latest trailer for disease was published back in November and contained a joke poison Reference where the main character was seen subduing a villain.

“I. am. Venom,” Morbius explained, before joking, “Just kidding, it’s Dr. Michael Morbius at your service.”

In the film, Morbius will face off against Loxias Crown/Hunger (played by Matt Smith), a childhood friend after he discovers the solution to the rare blood disease the titular character was battling, which gave him vampire-like superpowers.

Meanwhile elsewhere in the Spiderman Universe, the latest movie No way home broke all sorts of records when it was released last year and became the highest-grossing film of the year.

It is also the sixth highest-grossing film of all time (at the time of writing), behind other Marvel films Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War.

disease Slated for release on March 31st in the UK and April 1st in the US.
