Tom Holland has revealed that one of his Spider-Men colleagues wore a fake butt while filming the recent Marvel film Spider-Man: No Way Home together.

However, the star won’t reveal who it was.

In the film, Tom’s third appearance as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, was joined by former web-slingers Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, who played the superhero from 2012-2014 and 2002-2007, respectively.

The 25-year-old actor, who appeared on Monday’s Late Night With Seth Meyers, said: “I’m going to give you spoilers and I’m not going to tell you who. But one of us has a fake a**e in his suit…

“You can do the math yourself,” he added.

Host Seth, 48, then joked that it was “just about selling tickets” and suggested that “everyone go back out now”. [to the theatre] to try to find the fake one **! ‘

Tom continued, “I remember being on set and thinking, ‘Wow! Oh, the audio is a minute, that’s not real!

Does that mean he excludes himself as a carrier of the wrong butt, or is he just good at bluffing?

He also considered sharing the screen with his two predecessors, calling it “the most incredible experience of my career” when discussing the sometimes “alienating” nature of the role.

“Playing Spider-Man and being a wonderful experience at the same time [and] totally life-changing, it can also be quite alienating,” he explained. “When you’re 19 and someone gives you that opportunity and your life changes, it’s quite hard to figure out how to adjust, so almost having two older brothers who went through it before me to be able to share that experience with you Was incredible. ‘

The trio also spoiled fans this week when a picture emerged of the three donning their Spidey suits to recreate the iconic three Spider-Man meme, pointing at each other in amusement.

The official No Way Home Twitter account added, “Of course we have THAT meme,” adding, “Your new lock screen just dropped.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home was a smash hit, becoming the first pandemic-era film to gross $1 billion (£746 million) at the global box office.

The bond between the actors has clearly remained strong, with Andrew revealing that he and Tobey sneaked into a premiere screening to see the film together on the big screen.

“I still can’t believe it happened,” Andrew said ET. “I snuck into a theater on opening night and just watched with my baseball cap and mask on.”

The 38-year-old shared that “nobody knew we were there,” adding that he’d “found a brotherhood with Tobey and with Tom, too.”

Meanwhile, Charlie Cox revealed he was “gutted” when his guest appearance as Daredevil in the film met with no reaction in a “crowded theater.”

Speak with, he recalled, “When I found out I was going to get a scene in Spider-Man, that’s the dream that the reaction is significant. Unfortunately, I must have been in one of the few theaters in America where it was dead silent when I went to see it, and it was packed, so it was a real anti-climax.

“But I’ve gotten enough text messages from other people to know that it is [the reaction] a real thing. ‘
